My birthday card from Dane: The boy is growing up...long gone are the cheesy bright colored sprinkled with fairy dust cards:

On one hand it makes me sad -- he needs to slow down and be a kid -- on the other hand it's awfully thoughtful. And then I read it and think of my *own* mom and this card is SO true. So Mom, if you're reading this....this is for you, too. I love you.
